  1. DVV’s observation: “[The provided PDF document, wherein the list of the names of benefited students are enlisted for a given reserved category, does not show UTR number for all students and the status is “Still Pending”.

It is worth mentioning that nowadays government agencies disburse benefits through online portals and HEI should have considered providing the list from authenticated means to make tenable claims. ];;

  1. HEI needs to provide an AY-wise, scheme-wise, and category-wise,
  2. list of the students/beneficiaries, certified by the head of the institution.
  3. list of students/beneficiaries, which is drawn from a government agencies portal, or any other agency that allows HEI to do so, only for AY2022-23.
  4. In the downloaded PDFs, mentioned in sub-clause (b) of this para, HEI needs to “HIGHLIGHT” only those names of the beneficiaries who received the payment/benefit (, i.e. status of the payment is shown as “SUCCESS).
  5. DVV has found no reason to change the claimed figures right now, but, may change because it solely depends on HEI’s clarification.
  6. In the case of non-government schemes, HEI needs to provide e-transfer details only for AY2022-23.
  7. HEI may also consider providing the clarification document(s) AY-wise through a downloadable link(s).

DVV’s observation:

[HEI has erroneously categorized various activities as separate events.

According to NAAC SOPs, events cannot be fragmented into activities, and multiple activities held closely in time should be treated as one.

Additionally, when an organizing institute schedules different activities, such as Volleyball in the first month and Table Tennis in the middle of the year, they should be viewed as a single event due to their similar level, such as zonal or state, despite the temporal time-gap.

Thus, no additional benefits should be granted for the temporal time-gap between these activities, which is inevitable in managing activities.

HEI is requested to merge all activities organized by an institute as one if they have the same level.];;

  1. In the AY2022-23 HEI has participated in the events hosted by the following institutes:
  2. APSCE BANGALORE
  3. DBIT BANGALORE
  4. KSSEM BANGALORE
  5. RNSIT BANGALORE
  6. RVCE BANGALORE
  7. SJBIT BANGALORE
  8. VTU BELAGAVI
  9. VVCE MYSURU.

Therefore, values have been updated to eight only.

  1. HEI needs to provide, level-wise, and hosting institute-wise, the following things:
  2. Name of activity,
  3. Name of the participant(s),
  4. Soft copy of circular/brochure/notification of events, highlighting the activity.
  5. Certificates of participant(s),
  6. Geo-tagged photographs for each activity in each event. ;;

HEI is requested to mention specially and separately if HEI won (an) award(s) for outstanding performance or fetching gold, silver bronze in any activity.
