DVV’s Observation: [HEI was organizing a “RALLY FOR AVOIDING THE SPREAD OF CORONAVIRUS”, DVV failed to understand in what way a rally contributes. HEI has claimed some activities of little to no interaction/service to the beyond-campus society. Events that either served their own students or awareness programs or activities of celebrations, do not hold the essence of this metric. HEI needs to revise its claim and, in DVV’s humble opinion, needs to exclude activities such as:

  1. CAREER GUIDANCE
  2. SPREADING PUBLIC AWARENESS ABOUT COVID 19

iii. SPREADING PUBLIC AWARENESS ABOUT COVID VACCINATION

  1. SPREADING AWARENESS ON NEW TECHNOLOGIES
  2. RALLY FOR AVOIDING THE SPREAD OF CORONAVIRUS
  3. HIGHER EDUCATION, TECHNICAL VOCATIONAL EDUCATION

vii. IMPORTANCE OF HIGH SCHOOL IN STUDENT LIFE

viii. VOTING AWARENESS PROGRAMME

  1. AWARENESS ABOUT EDUCATION.];;

DVV has observed that HEI has either provided geo-tagged photographs of activities that do not suggest HEI participation anywhere or provided no geo-tagged photograph.

Moreover, the photographs provided do not differ from any regular event by any means.; HEI to provide academic year-wise

  1. either links of outreach programs or upload geo-tagged photographs (preferably with banners) with proper captions and dates.
  2. Objective for each program.
  3. detailed report for each extension and outreach program.

5 Any other supporting document of relevance, e.g. media reports of the events, have proper captions and dates.

3.5.1

DVV’s observation: [In DVV’s humble view, MOU only be seen as a catalysis for mutual growth, however, if it avoids the specific outcomes invoked by the specific stipulations, it is bound to fail to deliver any significant/required outcome. MOU on general stipulations, such as Guest Lectures, Organization visits, Skill enhancement, placement of students, curriculum design, or Faculty development programs, needs to be excluded. The second observation is about the papers’ publication which will be considered only if these were published in SCPUS index journals. ];;

HEI needs to provide, only for the financial year 2021-22, the following evidence:

  1. Copies of MoUs/collaboration-related documents on valid stamp paper or e-stamp paper,
  2. the nature of MoUs/collaborations,
  3. In the case of any grant received, HEI needs to provide the year-wise financial audit sheet duly certified by the recognized agency/CA only “highlighting” the grants received under MOU(s),
  4. Starting date and completion date,
  5. The objective of each MoU/collaboration,
  6. the names of students/faculty involved with other organizations’ engineers/students/ faculties, and

7. Annual progress report or final Project/internship report of each MoU/collaboration.
