Department of Mechanical Engineering has organised Plantation programme at VKIT campus in association with Lions club, Modi nagar, Bangalore to emphasise the need of bringing down Global warming & clean pollution free environment. 

The plantation programme inaugurated by our hon’ble principal Dr kumar kenche gowda. Total 25 numbers of saplings were planted at the college campus. The principal Dr kumar kenche gowda sir stressed the importance of planting the trees and appealed every individual to plant trees on special occasion. This good work is wonderfully done by lion B.G Nanjundaradhya president of the club, lion B.S.Renuka Prasad and lion H. Suresh delivered a lecture on this occasion.
