Research Activities

The department has published 4 papers at NAFEMS, India an international regional conference at Chennai and published 4 publications in 4 different domains namely aerospace engineering, heavy engineering component, automobile engineering and turbo machinery.

Dr. Kumar delivered a key note address on fatigue and durability in steam turbine blades at NAFEMS, regional conference 2015 at Hindustan university, Chennai.

Dr. Kumar delivered full fledged one hour lecture on Research Methodology to identify the problem in current state of the art in Science and Technology at VGST Lab, Dept. of Computer Science & Engg., VKIT

Dr. Kumar was involved in interstate Faculty development program where he was instrumental in bringing out the study material for PMC Engineering College at Tamilnadu which was benefited to more than 300 faculties across the state under TEQIP program.

Dr. Kumar delivered an expert talk at SDM Engineering College, Ujjire, in the department of mechanical Engineering on employability and recent trends in simulation engineering.

The department has sent a proposal for faculty development program to Vision group of science and technology, Karnataka for approval and is on the verge of the approval.
