The department offers, BE in Computer Science and Engineering, MSc Engineering by Research, and Ph.D. programs in various specializations of Computer Science and Engineering. The total intake for the BE program is 180. The department has state-of-the-art laboratories and well-qualified faculty members. The program is designed to provide students a solid foundation of the core discipline of Computer Science, and electives are offered to provide hands-on and advanced knowledge in key emerging areas of study. The Department has a comprehensive curriculum on topics related to all aspects of Computer Hardware and Software with an emphasis on practical learning as prescribed by Visvesvaraya Technological University, Belagavi.\u00a0 The course structure is in line with the latest advances in technology, which equip the students with the latest developments in Computer Science and Engineering. The graduated students from the department are working in reputed organizations across the Globe. The department has a VTU-recognized Research Centre. Students are encouraged to take up interdisciplinary research in various domains of computer science, like computer vision, Data Mining, Networking, high-performance computing,
