Annual College Day function VIBHIN-2019 was conducted on 10th and 11th May 2019 at VKIT campus Bangalore. A famous quote says “Do not do different things, do things differently!!!!!!”, yes VIBHIN is different of its own kind. It is a confluence of talent, knowledge,creativity, dedication and team work. The cultural events were held between 22nd April 2019 to 11th May 2019. The various events conducted includes Rangoli, Logo Design, Face Painting, Collage, Campus pics, Mehendi, Clay arts, Dumbsharades, Solo singing, Group singing, Beat boxing, Anthyakshari, Solo dance, Group Dance, Cookery, Minute to win, Nail art, Photography, Gaming, Skit, Short Movie, Fashion show, Food Fest, Flash Mob….and many more……
A very presence of Sri. G T Devegowda, Sir in our program, inspite of his busy schedule is a reflection ofthe importance that is attached to his commitment towards the academics. All the students were indeed, inspired by his gracious presence. On behalf of the management of JanathaEducation Society, Principal, staff and students of VKIT, we express our sincere thanks to sir.
He has addressed the crowd with a very motivated and inspirational way.His speech was so directive to the students. It was highly appreciated by the gathering. Soon after the speech our prize distribution ceremony started and winners of various events that was being conducted throughout the year, received the trophies from the chief guest Mr. G T Devegowda,President,Vice-President,Principal,Vice-principal and the Chief coordinator. Scholorships and merit awards weredistributed for students who excelled in the semester exams.Then the stage was occupied with the various colorful events by the students of the various departments. A royal lunch was arranged by the college management for the students, their parents, staffs.
The function was concluded by vote of thanks given by Chief Coordinator Dr. Vidya A. On behalf of the organizing committee, she has thanked all the members of Janatha Education Society for their encouragement and support in conducting VIBHIN. She expressed her thanks to all the heads and members of various committees of VIBHIN, thereception committee, the cultural committee, stage committee, food committee,disciplinary committee, Prize distribution committee, Sports committee and thepurchase committee for their restless effort, support and guidance throughout thejourney of VIBHIN 2019 and making VIBHIN a grand success. She has extended her thanks to all thestudents, heads of the departments, colleagues, teaching and non-teaching staff ofVKIT, judges of various events for their willingness to undertakevarious responsibilities for making this event a grand success. She has also conveyed thanks to the sponsors of VIBHIN including SOOKSHMAS, NIIT Vijayanagar, NVIRO Industries Pvt. Ltd., and CRYSTAL SHINE.
The post lunch session was engaged with various cultural events like singing, dancing etc., then in the evening a beautiful Ramp show was arranged by the students to Rock the gathering. It was really an amazing stage to showcase for all of us. Then finally a melodious musical concert was performed by Tunes Musical Band. The VIBHIN -2019 was concluded with a hope to begin with new and creative activities in the coming year i.e., VIBHIN-2020.
